To
be the most sophisticated, complete and up-to-the-minute resource for information around
entertainment and lifestyle, enabling our members and visitors to fully experience
our cities in real life and on the web.
Born out of the frustration of a true music fan who too often missed seeing, live
or on TV, performances by his favorite musicians, this network of sites strives
to deliver total awareness to the site member or visitor of everything surrounding
his or her favorite artists, whether they are local or of international aclaim.
A Canadian, and born into a musical family, I have been blessed with
getting to meet, know, even sometimes play with, many of my favorite
musicians.
I love to play jazz and blues and anything tinged with those elements.
And I especially love watching and listening to those who play at the
highest levels.
As a technologist, I have been recognized by Microsoft as an MVP on
Internet technologies for 14 consecutive years. There are perhaps 3000
MVPs worldwide, with a small number of those been recognized in the
online development space.
It is with great joy that I bring together all the experiences and
expertise that I have been allowed to have and to develop in creating
a series of sites that I hope will do much more than just entertain you.

A tough category for me, as I have seen literally hundreds of concerts at
venues all over North America and in Europe. Many of these musicians I have seen multiple
times. Choosing the McLaughlin, Di Meola & De Lucia concert as number one
was truly a no-brainer though - it was simply an astonishing evening of
masterful and passionate playing. -mjo

A lot of reasons to like a lot of places, and it usually comes down to
the people and the setting. From the architecture to the art and culture
to the mingling of so many peoples on her streets in the pedestrian section,
Munich still owns a huge piece of my heart.-mjo
